As I was pulling in I saw two Turkeys. My little camera was in the trunk so as I got out I started doing the one Turkey call I know. The two circled around and crossed the road. The second one called back and did a little strut. It was so but the pic, not so much. I really enjoyed this hike. It had some cool water spots with lily pads and wild roses on the banks. Some cool views. lots of pine and oak and some huge Juniper in some spots. Some nice clouds. Even saw a few climbers by the dry waterfall. If that weren't enough, you get to climb K A Hill in the last mile or so with more views.
Then to top off the trip I drove in to Williams and grabbed a cheeseburger at Twister's 50's Soda Fountain. Good burger and listened to some good oldies . |
