Linda was nice enough to hike with me and show me around her turf. Within a mile or two we saw one of her rattlers. The snake let us go by without a rattle and looked quite comfy. We went over to check out the construction on the west of Bursera Ridge. I guess Linda is right. What I thought was the start of the freeway is the start of a housing project. It's not that far west of the Bursera Gila junction. We took the Gila back which was my first time on this section. Nice trail. It even had a little mine. It just started to warm up the last mile or so. Thank goodness for the breeze. It kept it comfortable for the whole hike. Great hike and company! :y:
