Again, the fire was mellow through this spot on the rim, but not so on the slopes below, which showed much greater reduction of vegetation. The views down to Cherry Creek drainage and beyond are excellent and make this a good camp spot.
It was a warm breezy night, with a low temperature of 67 degrees.
