| no partners | | After my fine time in the Huachuca Mountains and a stop for some food in Sierra Vista, it was time to head back home. Usually on my many trips down that way I beeline it on I-10 to SR90 then zoom down through Sierra Vista using Buffalo Soldier Trail to avoid town congestion on Fry Blvd. BUT, on the way back I like to take the more scenic routes, cutting west on SR82 to Sonoita, then north on SR83. Sometimes I go up to I-10, but other times I enjoy driving along the Greaterville/Box Canyon Road to its intersection with the Madera Canyon Road, then on the Green Valley and home via I-19 and Valencia Road. With the amount of rain that had just fallen, I knew the drive would be especially pretty. It was!  |
