For my birthday my daughter Elizabeth and her two sister-in-laws, decided to take me on a hike straight up the SW side of Greens Peak on the north east side of camp. My son-in-law Lloyd stayed in camp to watch the kids. At the peak Elizabeth decided to go back to camp to check on Lloyd. Perhaps she was concerned after my remark that the kids had been requesting lengths of twine from my camping supplies and that we might find Lloyd bound and tied when we returned. The sisters and I continued down the other side of Greens Peak on the trail and then looped around its base on FR117 back to camp to make it a 4.7 mile hike. Back at camp Lloyd had escaped from captivity and was on his own hike to the top of Greens Peak while E had every thing under control. A nice hike with pleasant company. |
