| no partners | | Greens Peak has been on my radar screen for a while so I decided to hike it. I just walked up the road that does up to the top. I parked along the forest road well before getting to the spur road that goes up to the peak, so I hiked a bit more than I had to, but it was a nice day and the views were nice so I didn't mind.
There were great views along the way and at the summit. I imagine that I will do this one again this fall when I get back to the area.
After hiking Greens Peak, I had intended to hike a couple of other fire lookouts on my way back home, but I had a flat tire in McNary. It took a while to get the tire changed, and then I found out that it could not be repaired, so I decided to just head back home and forego the other peaks. I will be getting a set of KO2's this week. |
