In July Petrophile posted up photos of the petros on Anderson Mesa. These were something I planned on seeing and since our friends were coming in from Holland this looked like a short sweet trip for them. Petrophile gave me the info and of we went the day after they landed here in July. Well there was a really nice heat wave across the state, so it was really toasty up there, plus our friends were only 7,000' higher than normal. We finally made it to the first group and they loved it. Going to the second group would probably require an AirEvac for them.
This Sunday Deb and I went to the second group and saw some good images. Thanks for your guidance Petrophile.
