Highline Trail #31

Took an out of town visitor up to the spring and back with a short trip up above the spring and a detour along the Highline for some views but a bit hazy.

We saw lots of smoke hanging in valleys on Mt Ord and in Slate Creek. Along Horton we had some smoke from the Fulton fire to the east.

We saw 3 people on our way in and about 5 on the way back. The highlight was seeing an owl take off and glide low through the trees
