| no partners | | Entered into Cayan Creek (an unnamed drainage, which is usually dry) from the Senator Highway; just south of Mile Post 9 (someone stole the MP9 sign, just the post remains). The drainage bisects with Groom Creek Trail #307 before it peters out; it is 1.31 Mile from Senator Highway to the GC trail and has just under 800' in elevation gain. This is the forth time I have went up this drainage; cleaned and groomed the route staying in the drainage for most of the way. Lots of pesky NM Locusts to contend with.
Trail ran once on 307 back to just south of the Groom Creek Trailhead #307 to Senator Highway; then did a forest road run on the Senator back home. |

Autumn Foliage Observation Moderate Gambel Oaks and Nm locusts - yellow and brown. |
