I went straight up towards the Nub, thence on towards the "true summit" then curving southeast back onto the new trail. Took a detour to visit the cave. The cave is easily accessible between the 1.5 and 1.75 mile sign posts with the east pointing switchback. There is a green sign "revegetation area". I guess they dont want you visiting the cave. Whatev. There is a picnic table at each switchback. How awesome is that? /s |
