Another Great trip into the Sups
I started at 1st water TH at 9am.. seems my normal starting time considering my drive from Glendale. I had my Hydro Pack with 1.5l and 2-24oz bottles. Figured I'd make sure there was water before I went in with just the Hydro Pack. Well by 1/2mile in, uh ya... water everywhere...lol... So dummped the 48oz of water.. and headed off.

Trail was pretty good, few spots from horses kinda mucky, but overall good. My plan was to head to the Boulder Canyon Trail..#104 and 103 intersection...Find a campsite.. and have a relaxing Day.

Like I said so much water, was incredible. Love the Sups when there is all the water... so beautiful.

Got to the 103/104 intersection. Not really any water right there.. so started down the Boulder Canyon Trail to look for a spot. Immediately i could hear the water. Man was it flowing nice, now to find a campsite... Found a sweet one about .3miles down the trail. Close enough to the creek i could hear the waterfall. Setup camp, had a toty, and started the relaxation process. Was a nice day and evening, was in the tent listening to my audio books by 630.

Out of the tent at 715. Man, I had never seen so much condensation on my tent and the ground... was like it rained. Took a bit ta get things dry, was back on the trail about 915 or so.

Was gunna be a short hike day but I'd nevver been on this part of the Boulder Canyon Trail, man was I in for a treat. There was sooooooo much water, I swear I had 15 water crossings in that short stint of trail. Beautiful Lakes, Waterfalls, intersections of other creeks, was just so so beautiful. Lets just say I stopped a lot...lol

Headed down to 2nd Water and Boulder Canyon intersection... Grabbed my site from my last trip.. and started the relaxation process again, Im getting good at it I must say. Started a nice fire around 4pm and then diner. The changing cloudes started rolling in around 530.. yup.. looks like rain. I hit the tent about 730 ish... and not long after the drip drip drip of rain started. It rained off and on all night... sometimes pretty hard, but mostly just a nice stead rain.

Woke at 630 ish, not raining. Got up to... well... nature call's. Was pretty wet outside, no puddles, but pretty damp, not much of a chance of a fire. So I figured i'd pack up, and maybe perk a cup of coffee, and hit the trail. Nice having the room in my tent to dress, organize, and pack my entire backpack (besides the tent of course).

As I popped out, it was really warm, was surprised at how warm it was all night. Started taking down the tent, man was it wet...lol. Luckily it didnt rain during my tear down, stuffed the tent and fly in my dry bag, onto the mesh on the outside of my pack... all done. It started to drizzle... so I decided to just head out, hit the trail right about 8am.

My new Rain jacket was Da BOMB... literally got it the day before I left. its a Outdoor Research Helium II. weights just over 6oz. It didnt rain much at first till I made it to Hackberry Mesa.. then it poured a couple times, awesome having the jacket... 2 thumbs up :y:

Got home at around 11am, and my new toy had Landed... Zpacks Arc Blast backpack.. Time to do some trimming and serious ultralight gear prepping...Ya Baby!! :app:

Fun times had for sure
