| partners | | Wally took me out to the Supes to hit some parts of trail I had not been on. The temps and clouds made the hike from Rogers trailhead all the way to Frog Tank trailhead very pleasant. Frog Tank was nice but wore me down. Sadly there was a " sleeping fox" right beside the trail. Paradise creek(?) was running pretty good and swallowed the trail in a couple spots. Rogers was in good shape with good water running in the creek as well. We even saw a Swedish swim team on this trail. By the time we got to the Reavis trail junction Wally had to drag me up it. Great Hike. Thanks to Wally for guiding, pushing ,pulling me and driving.
The south side of some of the mountains on the drive in are covered in Brittlebush with Globe Mallow and Fairydusters to boot. With a lot of Saguaros thrown in, it is really pretty. Someone with a good camera and or talent could get some awesome photos out there right now! The Renaissance traffic lived up to it's reputation and I was more than ready for lunch by the time we got out of there. |

Wildflowers Observation Isolated A few here and there but nothing bunched up. The drive on the dirt road was the show. |
