| no partners | | This is a portion of the Arizona Trail #4 From Temporal Canyon Gulch to Walker Basin. I have been calling this Temporal Canyon but it is actually temporal Gulch. I have to ask again what determines if it's a gulch or a canyon, Gulch sounds like some place you might get robbed or shot in (by the looks of the sign in Walker Basin maybe it should be Gulch). There was water along the trail at Anaconda Spring (didn't look to appetizing) and at Walker Basin Tanks. The trail follows a jeep trail the whole way to Walker Basin and becomes a trail from Walker basin to Walker Pass. The elevation gain is all from South to North travel. Really nice Southern views of Josephine Peak and Mount Wrightson. There are numerous mines along this trail. |
