| no partners | | | Fantastic hike. Starts at Munds Wagon Trail and heads to junction with southern end of Hangover Trail. Continues on around the west side of the Mitten and then to Cow Pies. The whole trail is breathtaking, just don't walk and admire at the same time. Once at the Cow pies on the north end of the Hangover Trail return via the Munds Wagon Trail. The trail is used quite a bit but wasn't crowded. used by Mountain bikes also so stay vigilant. When we were there the traffic was very light only seeing a couple of hikers but on the way out there were quite a few heading in. Maybe going earlier in the day is best. The only downside to this hike is having to deal with the traffic in Sedona. |
