| no partners | | Nice hike from Molino Basin to Sycamore Reservoir and the divide between Sabino Canyon and Sycamore Canyon. Sycamore Reservoir Dam is filled with gravel above the dam so it is really just a real plush green Riparian area. The dam does create a nice waterfall though. This trail is interesting because it crosses so many of the main drainage systems of the Catalina Mountains; Molino Canyon, Soldier Canyon, Bear and Sycamore Canyon and a view into Sabino Canyon. That covers every major Creek on the eastern slopes of the Catalina's. Did manage to see my first Coral snake on this hike they are kind of rare. |
