I was amazed at how much water was available along the creek (and this was October, November). There is a lot of history here but unfortunately I was unable to discover much on the internet. This was a round trip hike with most of the elevation gain on the return trip. Very gradual uphill grades with the exception of a 300 foot climb over the saddle near Conelo Pass. Not a lot of views along this trail because it is mostly in a shallow canyon but the nearby scenery was enough to keep you occupied. Very interesting trail. |
