| no partners | | | This was a bush whacking adventure from my house into the forest behind in search of an old gold mine dating back to around 1921. Several sources had slightly conflicting coordinates, so I set off to check a couple of them. The second area seemed the best bet, but dense growth kept me from finding a definitive location. I'll go back with a machete. I did come across a dump that I felt is associated with the mine - abundant debris including rusted tin cans, oil drums, broken china, and other items covered a large area. |
