Started at 5:00. Some storms to the southeast and southwest, but they were far off, nice lightning though. Warm, but a nice breeze all morning. Had the trail all to myself on the way up, saw a few people on the way back down. I saw one snake, it was black and red/orange, and small, about the size of a straw or pencil; I was able to get one pic before it disappeared. Nice morning. My kids start school this Thursday, so really not many more 5:00 hikes for me this summer, maybe tomorrow, but that's it.
