Bob, Heather, and I did a meandering Lollipop hike starting from McDowell Mountain Park's Trailhead Staging Area.

We hiked southwest on Pemberton toward the pond and then took a convenient wash into one of the deep arroyos to the west. When the wash petered out, we sought higher ground and made our way over to the Bluff Trail. We went west on Bluff and then took Granite to Stoneman Wash which took us back to Pemberton and then to the parking area.

Temperatures were in the low eighties when we started (at 6:30am) and were in the mid- to high-nineties when we finished. It wasn't especially humid though - I thought that it felt pretty comfortable.
