hit john and ray up for a hike in the supes
haven't been out to peralta trailhead in over a year and a half :o
we picked this moderate loop and it was just right for the day
got going around 0700, counterclockwise on the loop
dutchman around miners needle, back on bluff spring trail
took a little snack break at the six mile point
it's been a long time since i've been on these trails, and really enjoyed seeing barkley basin, miners needle, barks canyon, and all the cool geology in the western supes
saw very few others until finishing up
by then the trailheads were packed
cool temps and some high clouds made for pleasant conditions
nice hike with good company
thank you for driving ray
i'll be back :)
