This one started out nice, pleasant outside with a nice breeze, but that ended as soon as I reached Barkley Basin. Then it became a heaping helping of humidity. By the time I reached the Whiskey Spring trail junction, my frozen bottle of gatorade was no longer frozen.

The trails are in good shape. A bit of creeping thorny stuff here and there, but nothing to worry about. The trip down Cardiac Hill at the end was not fun (never is). I'd rather be going up at the beginning of the hike. I'll go the other way next time.

Good day to be out. The sun stayed hidden until I reached the parking lot at the end. And I was glad to be done
