| no partners | | Most of my trip details area in the description. I will reiterate that once you leave the Pima Canyon Trail, it's more of a canyoneering experience than a hike. However, lower Alamo Canyon up to and past the turnoff to Leviathan is a great boulder hopping area, but only when dry. There are lots of places to mess up a leg or something else if the rock is wet.
Frank is already talking about a trip down from the Pima Saddle around the north side of Wilderness Dome. I think I'm busy that month but I'll loan him my rope.
One thing's for sure, you won't run into a lot of people in upper Alamo Canyon. But you will have some unique views. |
