From the Canyon Lake TH we hiked in to check out L Canyon. We only stayed in the canyon itself so still some additional exploring in the area is needed. On the way in we checked out the Spanish Cross and on the way out we took a peek into Aylor's La Barge Camp (we stopped by the site on the way in initially however the site was occupied by campers still in the tent so we took a pass). Crossed paths with our first rattler of the season who politely warned us of its presence. Nice day.
