Was looking for something close and new this morning so thought I would hike this loop which I really enjoyed. There was a team of fire recruits training on the Wind Cave Trail, they were coming down carrying a cadet on a stretcher as I was going up. Everything pass the Wind Cave and along the ridgeline was new for me and since I was solo I took my time. Found the summit log and signed in. My decent off the north end needs work as most of the time I was just plowing though grass and loose rocks. Once on the Pass Mountain Trail is was a quick hike back to the truck. Will definitely do this hike again.
