(it always taste good at the time, but the next day effects are never good) made me less than enthusiastic in my attempt to finish off Skyline Park. Drove their slowly, obeying the speed limit 
, and got on the trail a little after 5:30. Wanted to do a loop involving the Chuckwalla. So going clockwise, I hit the Turnbuckle - Granite Falls - Chuckwalla - Granite Falls (briefly) - Turnbuckle (switchbacks) - Valle Vista - and then back to the TH via the Mountain Wash Trail. Felt pretty lousy when I started,but overall felt good at the end. Jogged what I could, but have never made it up the switchbacks of the Turnbuckle. Though I think I got farther today, than I have in previous attempts. The highlight of the morning was.... while the Dbacks are playing hard on the east coast, I found Baxter lounging around in the early morning sun. Came across my first bobcat!
