I planned this as a recon for an upcoming longer hike in the area. I parked along AZ 87, easily crossed the low mesh fence (to keep small animals off the highway?) then searched for a good spot over the taller fence. Once over the fence and into the first boulders I knew I was wearing the wrong boots & wrong pants. I'll remedy that next trip.
