Besnard Lake is about 5 hours north of Saskatoon, 60 miles west of Lac LaRonge. Connected to the Churchill River system it is an excellent Walleye reproductive lake. It has just enough gravel road getting there to keep the expensive Walleye boats away. Couple of small campgrounds at the end of the road, nearly full this time of year but never seen another boat on the lake in two days.(outside of the dock)
