Our winter vacation park “Venture Out at Mesa” hiking group volunteered to work with the Forest Service and their “Adopt-a Trail " program. We were asked to work on Terrapin and although it is a ways out there we took on the challenge. Dividing into three groups and with assistance from a couple of volunteers from the forest service we “brushed “ a large portion of the trail and got in a great hike at the same time. Did see a couple of hikers on Weavers Needle about 1:30, waved at them but no reply.
