Couldn't sleep this morning. After two days in a row of getting up at 4am to go hiking, my body was ready to adapt to the new schedule. I tossed and turned for an hour, then just gave in and rolled out of bed at 5am. Took a drive out towards Canyon Lake and pulled over around mile marker 207. Found a lightly used trail that took me to a small peak. Couldn't have been but 200 feet elevation gain and probably not much more than a 1/4 mile to the peak. Nice views of the lake from this location (nevermind the trash everywhere from the typical pigs who don't care about the beauty of the area).

This is my gym. I have to travel down a bumpy road to get there. There are no treadmillls, no machines, and no personal trainers. I walk..I run..I breathe the fresh air. I can go any time I want, as much as I want and there is no membership fee.
