Had the morning free, so Daniela & I headed out to Picketpost. Great weather, although a little muggy at times. The trail has seen a lot of erosion since I was last out there. A few spots seemed to be more difficult to get though this time. Crystal clear views in all directions from the summit. Heading back down actually wasn't too bad since the damp soil helped prevent us from slipping on the steeper sections. Lots of water. Saw one tarantula. Only saw two other hikers near the trailhead, we had the mountain to ourselves.
