Fortification Hill is probably my favorite short hike between Phx & Vegas. We stopped by on the drive back to Phx. Short, steep hike up, and it felt warm in the full sun, but there was a breeze. My friend liked the scrambling through the cliff bands. Short break at the summit, then headed back down. Saw four other people.
