Parked alongside the airport road and followed trail markers. The route is almost entirely road walking, though there are several sections I would hesitate to drive. Queen Creek was running lightly through the cottonwood wash, which my dog appreciated. As for the townsite itself, there's not a ton to see. By far the highlight of the walk is the wagon tracks worn into the rocks north of the townsite. For those following the LOST Desert Segment informational brochure, this is the point I turned back to the car. |
