finally took the time to go up two peaks this afternoon
there are bits and pieces of a use trail, and my track shows that i mostly followed the trail on the haz map
hit both peaks, and it looks the like the western one is higher
could see national trail to the south, so i dropped off the higher peak and cut across
it might have been better to return to the saddle between the two peaks and drop down from there
steep with loose rock so slow going but very little brush or cactus to contend with
took national to hidden valley and returned on mormon trail
a new peak - something different and fun
good to practice off trail occasionally
