Linda, Sara, and Marilyn joined me for an out and back hike to Dixie Mine and nearby petroglyphs.

The approach to the mine (from the road) is still deeply rutted from the rains of late summer / early fall of 2018. Much of the tamarisk in the area has been cut back - it's now possible to walk up the gate at the mine's adit without pushing through the stuff.
