Checking the weather for the weekend, I saw there was going to be some steady rain. So, I decided to check out Massacre Falls on Sunday. A slight drizzle was coming down when we started up at 8am. It was really misty around the mountain. When we got up there, there was not much flow. But, this is a nice hike with or without water.

So green out there now. I can see all of this new brittle brush growth all along the trail to the plateau. Once that starts blooming, the entire mountainside will be yellow! I hope this is a good wildflower year.

I will wait for a stronger and more sustained rain and head up to this cool spot again.
