The crater/sinkhole itself was nothing out of this world spectacular but certainly very unique as it is just a few feet from the edge of Jacks Canyon yet it still has its own entire separate walls which I just find so random especially considering there is nothing else like it in the area from what I’ve seen.
I then proceeded up Jacks Canyon for awhile and looped back to my truck making the short drive to the head of nearby Brady Canyon and did another four mile loop there.
Saw mule deer and plenty of elk, even some bulls already growing back their antlers while their fresh ones still on the ground, amazing to know how fast they regenerate.
A absolute perfect spring day with ideal temperatures, chirping birds and a healthy forest to explore, life’s good. |
