| no partners | | Attempting to dodge projected storms all day I figured the little trip to see "Archie" was finally a good fit.
After making it to the main attraction and checking the radar I continued to hike around the general area to see what I could find which ended up being 30 or 40 cow elk, a handful of mule deer and a few of there fallen hooved friends.
No water down in Willow but plenty of water in the many named and many more unnamed game tanks around the area.
Still would love to know how that arch formed and if it is technically it is considered a natural bridge since it appears to have been formed by water rather than wind which seems to the classification between arches and natural bridges.
As always a great time in this area and didn't see anyone while on foot but once back on the roads I was greeted by the many trucks, trailers and people that frequent this place during the summer. |
