This is a really cool loop. Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name, typically where you're not disliked, but damn I'm glad I changed the beat.
Rarely get out on this side of Perl Charles 1A. Realized WestWorld & Pinnacle Peak are clearly in view at prime points.
Yesterday was packed. Today maybe 50%. Bees & gnats are rolling full throttle. I'm sure they'll annoy me before the mercury destroys their life nurturing moisture. For now I have far greater anyances than bugs swarming my eyes, ears and nose.
Prehydrated as always. 2 frozen 12oz water bottles were perfect at 2.1mph, upper 80s, light breeze. Typically prefer laps as I'm not into carrying a pack on a hike under 12ish miles. |
