This was a trip out to Whiskey Spring to see how the burn affected the Fleet Fawn crash site. I saw John & Kelly at the trailhead. It was good to see familiar faces. The hike was easy and the morning temperature was nice. I took a mile detour down Whiskey Spring trail. Like 00blackout stated in his triplog Whiskey Spring trail burned pretty good. The old tire at the crash site is mostly gone but some small pieces from the plane are there. It would be difficult to find with out knowing the location. I hiked back up Whiskey Spring trail and finished my counter-clockwise loop down Dutchman and back Bluff Spring trail. I didn't see any hikers until Bluff Spring trail and made good time finishing just after 10 am.
