To Charlebois and beyond. The forecast was perfect for a long hike. No need to start before sun up as the temps would be good all day. I saw Andy at the trailhead so I hiked with him to Black Top Mesa and we caught up on trail talk. We parted ways on Bull Pass as I was going on to Charlebois. Once there I couldn't stop so it was on to Peters Mesa. :lol: I saw a white-tailed doe on the mesa and stopped for a snack. The fire did burn the brush up there and the trail is tough to follow but the area will come back. The hike out went pretty fast with light traffic, water flowing and perfect hiking weather. Great day to be on the trail.
