As to this last note: It's one of those situations where you want to ask the guy if he forgot to put his pants on. He was nicely tanned. All of the folks that walked by me had a big grin and I stopped briefly to add my commentary. It's funny that, for the most part, we don't notice what people are wearing but what they are BAREly wearing 
Trails were busy with hikers and bikers and all dogs were leashed. I got 100% on Good Mornings or Hellos. A couple girls were talking about how they didn't expect it to be this hot and it's 9AM. I struggled with the last of the Ridgeback Trail elevation. My confidence in elevation hiking is just shot. Hopefully it will come back but you would think with 3 good hiking weekends in a row, it would come back better. All of these last three hikes have never been this much of a struggle for me. Oh well, I'll keep trying. |
