| no partners | | | I noticed Glen had sent a few photos of our hike up to the Kings Crown peak and thought I would add a few to his collection. We found the road to the 'calcium carbonite mine' a year ago and thought the climb to the Kings Crown peak would be a challenge. So some of my playmates decided this would be the day to take it on. Lot's of rocky ground to cross and we didn't find any cairns to follow up the hill, so just made our way. The views are fantastic and we really enjoyed seeing all the areas where we had hiked in the past. We did meet a 'varmit hunter' along the way, but no one else. We are off the 'beaten path' and no litter to be found. What a treat! |
