| no partners | | | Ron and I decided to hike to Eliptical Arch, Dome Mountain, the wildlife watering tanks and Panorama Peak. We met Jackie and Peter on the trail and they decided to join us on the hike up to Dome Mountain. We were surprised to see hikers ahead of us, but we never saw them again. Jackie and Peter opted to drop back down just before we took on the last segment of reaching the Dome Mountain peak. It was quite windy, so thought we might see deer or sheep, but no such luck. The last time we visited the tanks, the piping was in disarray. It was good to see everything properly connected and in good order. We went on the take in the view from Panorama Peak, then dropped down the south side to bushwhack back to the Dome Mountain trail where we separated from Jackie and Peter. |

We saw a Globe Mallow, but not much more on the hike. |
