Our hike began at Canyon lake marina, where we started up West Boulder trail. We left the trail and moved down to Boulder Creek and continue until reaching the area between 'tugboat and battleship' where we picked up West Boulder trail again and hiked it until we reached the 'battleship trail'. We continued past Battleship and down to Labarge Canyon. After our visit there, we moved down Labarge Creek until we reached Boulder Creek again and worked our way back the way we came in.
