Still trying to take it easy as the doc hasn’t quite given me the 100% yet so I opted for the AZT again this time South from Sunflower. Super easy going and wide trail. Sycamore was roaring. The creek crossing a couple miles in was exciting and coooold. After a while it really opened up as the trail followed a creek through the valley. 4 miles in I decided I had enough of the sloppiness so I took a little break and then headed back. The return creek crossing had me questioning my sanity. I spotted snow on the Mazzies hiking back.
