| no partners | | You know how you always have those friends that are like "I would love to do that sometime" when you show them photos of a hike?
Took my friend out to do some fishing and get him used to the trail in prep for a backpack trip in Sept. Totally different parking lot on a Thursday .. Smoke and a thin cloud cover kept most of the sun off. I made the first crossing and when I turned around to assist my friend, I looked up and there were about 10 sheep up on the ledge not even 100 feet away. They didn't even budge and even started coming down towards the water after a minute, so we kept on the trail. Super Awesome Experience! Made it in the top 10 Greatest Hits! Stopped at a few fishing spots on the way down. The stretch between the 3rd and 4th crossing was hot. Laying in the cool creek at the end is always the best. Took a very leisurely approach to this hike which is best because this place is so chill and I love it. And.. we didnt catch anything lol |
