| partners | | It had been awhile since we'd made it out to the Arrastra Mountain Wilderness. Joe threw out a track to hit a new section around Peoples Canyon and I jumped on it. Our first trip to Peoples Canyon was almost 7 year ago and was an Epic trip. 4 days of rain turned the canyon into a water wonderland. This was trip was entirely different. Cool, dry and sunny.
The road walk portion drug on a bit, so it was nice to hit the wilderness and the trail leading to Peoples.
The new section we were going to sample, took us off trail. We found some use trails to make the off trail easier. There's some pretty sweet geology back here the closer we got to Peoples. Bingo did not pan out, but the exit we took from Peoples did.
Not as epic as out first trip, but great to to get back to this lightly traveled wilderness |
