During a satellite scan over the Superstitions a circle off a creek bed caught my eye so figured this would be a good day to check it out. Started at the Needle Vista parking and hiked to the FW trailhead. From there headed out the Dutchman Trail till we reached the creek crossing that would take us to the "circle". Neat little creek with lots to see including a double arch, a man made dam, lots of pools, and oh yeah, a "circle" of sorts. Once we hit Second Water we proceeded up to Garden Valley and basically made this a Garden Valley Loop on steroids.
Got plenty wet, saw some new sights, and got outside. A great day!! |
