Took a trip south to check out Madera Canyon. First time visit. Arrived close to lunch time and and checked out the parking fee board. Was happy to see that my parks pass was accepted. Had lunch that we packed and then headed out on a small inner loop hike. As we headed up the Super Trail I missed the spur trail that we needed to take but it worked out nice in that we got to cross into the posted wilderness area. Backtracked and resumed the loop. Visited Sylvester Spring and enjoyed a nice break by the nearby creek, and then headed down to the picnic area and back to our parking via the Nature Trail.

Had a really nice day checking out a new area for us. I'll bring Ryan back with me to tackle some of the bigger targets
