| no partners | | Judy and I (Kai has torn ACL and is waiting for a surgery date) were looking for a hike near by that was little used so we could keep a safe distance from others. Started on Overton CW and took the spur labeled West Boundary. After about a half a mile there is a step over where you leave CCRP and enter State Land Trust property. As we headed NE there were several dirt roads. Twice we beared left until we walked into paved Saddle Mountain Rd where we turned around and returned the same way. After looking at Google Earth when we got home it looks like most of the time we were on E Bentley Mine Rd.
We only passed one other hiker on the short stretch of Overton Trail so accomplished a hike with few others. |
